自分がそれに近いことをやったときにふと思ったことですが、ある程度の経験があって自信過剰になってくると、こういう言動が出易くなるように思います。しかし、実際に自分がやってみると穴があったり、存外に苦労することが多い、と。また、「いろいろ」の中のどのやり方にするかを選別するのにかかるコストが並み大抵ではないということを忘れてしまうことも多いですね。
で、とにかく「そのやり方じゃダメだ」と言いたい場合に使われる。
ただ「ダメ」というだけよりはよっぽど良いのですが、もし対象が協業者であるなど、相手の出来具合が自分にも影響を及ぼすような場合なら、相手のそれまでの苦労とこれからの苦労を意識して発言したほうがよいですね。
自分への影響が完全に０、というケースは実はあり得ないんですけどね。
自分がやるならどの方法を選ぶか？
自分がやったとしたらすべての問題を妥当な時間で解決できるか？
すなわち「それは本当に適切なアドバイスであるか？」です。
ただ、こういう場合のよくある指摘として「んじゃやってみろよ」とか「自分は出来ないくせにそんなこと言う資格はない」とかがありますが、これは間違った指摘の仕方だと思います。
自分で出来なくても言ってもいいでしょう。ただ、自分がやらない立場であるならば、相手がそうできなかった事情を想像し、たとえ提案に確固たる自信があったとしても、思いも寄らない穴があるかもしれない、と考えながら言えば、上記のような無駄な反論を受けずにすみますし、どんどん言ったほうが建設的であると思います。
世の中の評論家の多くは自分が出来ないのに評論対象の苦労を無視した指摘の仕方をするから嫌われるのです。
もちろん「評論家」と呼ばれる人でも自分の立ち位置をわきまえた方はいらっしゃると思いますけどね。
