不定期コラム Engineerを考える（8）：文字コミュニケーションを円滑に～行間の鎮火術
正直、おいらはこれでは表面上の鎮火しか望めない、と思った。なんというか、自分の逃げ方を教えているだけで、相手のことを本当に思いやっているように見えないというか…。少なくとも自分はここに書かれているとおりの対応をされるとがっかりする。
とはいえ半分以上は当たってると思うけど。ただ、これをガイドラインみたいに思う人が増えると個人的には嫌だなぁ。
何が引っかかるかって、「引き際が大事」「引用は避ける」「顔文字は避ける」といったあたり。
あるケースでは当たっているけれど、全体に適用できる話では決してないと思う。「避けたほうがいいことも多い」程度なら解るけれど著者の論調はそうではないような気がするので。これは全体を見ての印象と合わせての感想。
特に引用は文字ベースで議論をする上では重要で、引用を避けたほうが良いケースの方が稀。書かれているとおり、「相手の感情を逆なでする(相手のミスを含めて)部分を繰り返し引用してしまう」ようなことは避けたほうがいいけれど、相手のどの主張について話しているかをきちんと引用しないと単なる印象操作になってしまうケースの方が多い。
人は、なんとなく思ったことを書いてしまう。この記事も印象が元であり、厳密にどこそこが変、と完全に明確にはしていないわけだけれど、そういうのがいいということだろうか。明確にするのはしんどいけど、明確にしないと迷走するのが文字ベースの議論というものだと思う。
